WILD LENT

Watercolour of trees, flowers and butterflies.

Jaimee will be offering an eco/creation-care Lent group called "Wild Lent".

Each week will have a ritual and outside activity for people to do in their own time (e.g. hug a tree, is one week !). It will be
suitable for people to do with their children, too, as well as adults on their own.

Then on a Tuesday evening via Google Meet we'll have the opportunity to look at a Bible verse to do with that theme and reflect together.

The first session is on Tuesday 20th February with a theme of Trees & Flowers. The link is as follows:

The Big Plastic Count 11-17 March

The Big Plastic Count - It's back!

Hi there,

I just signed up to The Big Plastic Count.

For one week in March, thousands of people around the country are going to count their household plastic waste and submit the data to the UK’s biggest investigation into household plastic waste.

The evidence will put pressure on the UK government to push for an ambitious Global Plastics Treaty to end the age of plastic for good.

The plastics problem is still with us. Together we can convince the government to act.

Thanks,
Zoe
