The VE Day netting has gone up around the arch of St John’s and the red, white and blue flowers have been placed around the churchyard in readiness for the National celebrations on 8th May.
We are indebted to our Steeple Keeper, Ken, who looks after our bells, and the rest of the team for hanging the netting around the porch.
The next Munch with Music will be held in the church on 7th May 2025 featuring Yohei Nakajima on viola
and Miho Sanou on piano.
You are invited to bring your own ‘Munch’.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Coffee, tea and biscuits from 12:15pm, with the performance starting at 12:45pm and lasting about 45 minutes.
The following Munch will be on 5th June 2025, with Musicians from Trinity Laban.
Deep in St John's Memorial Garden lies the Bug Hotel, very reasonable rates, especially after the renovation last Sunday. The Club is looking out for God's creation, small as well as large.

We are a new, local group for all ages, for walking & making friends, based in & around Caterham.
Walks will be various levels of difficulty & on different days and times to make it more accessible.
Although this is organised by the church, it is open to everyone and will not be a specifically "religious" event.
Walking is good for wellbeing; for mental and physical health, and socialising and spending time in nature are good for the spirit. We are coming together for all these reasons.
This particular walk is largely flat, with a small incline. It's around 2 miles in a loop from Woldingham Knight's, and ending up back there. Knight's has some parking available. On a scale of croydon road (1) to Waller Lane (10), it is probably a 4.
Dogs are welcome so long as they are not aggressive.
Please bring adequate water for you and your dogs and adequate clothing/suncream etc & any medication you need to stay safe and well.
